Things On Tuesday On Monday

Cat Box Leavins'

- Doing my "Things On Tuesday" post on Monday because I'm pretty sure tomorrow will be so crazy I won't have a chance.

- Lee still feeling incredibly poopy from the flu bug. I feel so bad for him!

- Me sort of feeling like I should be "Bubble Girl." I HAVE to be a carrier of a gazillion bugs right now, with all the sick folks I've been around. And I just sort of feel low-grade blah ... like it could be coming on. Or maybe I'm just downtrodden because of the next cat box leavin', which is:

- Going back to work.

- The weather forecast tomorrow is basically "the clouds will open up and poop and pee on your head." "Wintry mix" is one of my least favorite word combos. And since it sounds like it will start later in the day, the chances of getting a work at home day out of it are slim to none. The chances of getting a "go to work and pay hell trying to get home day" are much, much greater.

- That something in the elevator at work smelled like fried butt today. I don't know WHAT it was, but it was so bad that all of us were using the stairs (for 6 flights).

- Seeing and catching up on how we all spent the holidays with some of the work crew. I do work with some really nice peeps. But now that we've seen each other and caught up, we'd all like the rest of the week off!

- That for my moment, my body is still hanging tough in spite of being around more sick people than a doctor!

- The slim but still tantalizing hope of a snow day.

- The outcome of the football games this weekend. I wanted the Ravens to win for Lee, and because I want them to meet the Steelers again so that "questionable" touchdown isn't all the freakin' rage here in Bawlmer anymore. And I just don't like the Colts, so I wanted the Chargers to win too.

- That Mom's sick bug is finally waning. She really felt awful. She got it a few days before Lee, so he should be on the mend soon too.

- That even though he felt ooky today, Lee decided I deserved chili for dinner after my 12-hour day and went and got me some from Wendy's while I was still at work. He's so thoughtful.

- That I think I'm going to sleep like a log tonight. There are some benefits to being glaze-eyed zombie tired.

Looking Forward To:

- Ummm ...the weekend!

- The 3-day weekend after that.

- More playoffs this weekend ...go Steelers!
