Things On Tuesday
Things That Suck:
- Feeling like I didn't get enough weekend in because of working on Sunday.
- Feeling like in general, I'm rushing through too many things and not devoting enough time or attention to anything. I want more time to sit back, enjoy life, and appreciate things!
- The "empty space" at work where my awesome coworker used to be.
Things That Don't Suck:
- Warm blankets fresh out of the dryer.
- Sleeping with the windows open, and waking up to the kind of gentle chill that makes you want to curl up in a blanket and drink a steaming cup of coffee.
- Our pumpkin, brought home from the produce stand this weekend!
- Walking around the neighborhood and noticing everyone else is getting their yards all pumpkined up for fall too.
- Having it be chilly enough to wear my Steelers fleece jacket.
- In general, EVERYTHING about fall. Love, love, LOVE this time of year!
- Speaking of them, THE STEELERS! Did they rock this weekend or what?
- Watching football at the pub with my mom.
- The jumbo shrimp we steamed up for dinner Saturday night.
- The shrimp salad I made with the leftovers on Sunday.
- Morning snuggles with Lee and Sly.
- Vinster getting his winter coat and belly. I love the way he becomes a plump, fluffy weasel when the temps start to change.
- Facebook Metropolis. I'm having way too much fun with my little city!
Things I'm Looking Forward To:
- A weekend in the mountains, complete with a trip to a favorite fall festival and a horse ranch.

We were thinking of you the other night while watching the Steelers from a pub in our neck of the woods. I was wondering if you were watching, too.
Monsoon is getting in her winter fur coat, too. The poor thing must be sweltering but she looks so darn cute.

I started a city in Metropolis also...Johnsonsville. Facebook is really fun once you figure out all the things you can do on it! Yesterday I adopted my 3-D puppy, Cocoa. :-)
But of course : )! Their schedule with so many late games this season is making my workweek beginnings rough, but they are making it worth it by winning at least!
Don't you love when they get their winter weasel look? And isn't it funny how it happens even when it is still warm? For Vin, it's at least cooling down here and we've been keeping the windows open to get a bit of brisk fall air indoors.
